Laws and Regulations

Environmental Law No. 2872

This is the main legal basis for all our urban cleaning and solid waste management operations. Pollution prevention and the "polluter pays" principle are fully implemented within legal limits.

Waste Management Regulation

It establishes the legal framework for classification, record keeping, licensed transportation, and facility acceptance criteria throughout the process from waste generation to disposal.

Zero Waste Regulation

In the projects we carry out with municipalities and public institutions, the processes of separating waste at the source and reintegrating it into the circular economy are the legal standard.

Regulation on the Control of Industrial Air Pollution

The legal limit values for emission controls and filter systems in our recycling lines and operation sites are subject to the provisions of this regulation published on the Presidential Legislation Information System.

Public Procurement Law No. 4734

All city cleaning tenders and contract processes that we undertake as contractors within municipalities and local administrations are managed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this law.

Environmental Permit and Licensing Regulation

It is a legal regulation aimed at controlling the environmental damage that businesses may cause during their operations. It brings together all environmental permits of facilities under one umbrella, including air emissions, wastewater discharge, noise control, and waste management.

Regulation on the Transportation of Waste by Road

The transportation of hazardous, medical, and specially treated waste generated as a result of industrial activities from factories to disposal facilities is subject to strict legal regulations. The Communiqué on the Transportation of Waste by Road, implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, defines the technical and legal standards in the transportation process of these wastes.

This legislation is based on the principle of joint liability between the waste producer (factory), the transport company, and the disposal facility. Any non-compliance at any stage of the process leads to joint legal and administrative responsibility of the parties.

Water Pollution Control Regulation

This is the fundamental regulation that establishes the legal and technical principles for protecting and optimally utilizing the country's underground and surface water resources and preventing water pollution. The clean water generated in our facility's operational areas, vehicle logistics washing lines, and potential wastewater discharge parameters are managed and directed in full compliance with the standards of this regulation and the principles of wastewater infrastructure facilities, in order to protect receiving water environments.
